Relatives all share an open hatred for young Kevin.
The good guys:
Local lawmen, teachers, social workers and others that try in vain to stop the inevitable.
The bad guys:
Unscrupulous men in charge of the social services department, clansmen who have no respect for law and order, cruel foster homes, schoolyard bullies and a sadistic uncle.
